Nancy Helen Jarvis

October 14, 1931 — February 8, 2022

Nancy Helen Jarvis, loving mother and grandma, went home to her Lord and Savior on February 8, 2022, at the age of 90. Nancy was born on the family dairy east of Stillwater, Oklahoma, on October 14, 1931, to Martin and Mae Craft. While living on the dairy farm, Nancy helped the family milk cows, wash milk bottles, and herd cattle to different pastures to feed. She worked hard to help her family deliver milk, cream, and butter to stores to be sold to customers. Nancy graduated from Stillwater High School with the class of 1949. She also graduated from Oklahoma State A & M College with the class of 1953. She loved her OSU Cowboys. Nancy married the love of her life, C.B. Jarvis, on June 5, 1954. Reverend C.B. and Nancy pastored Nazarene churches in Calumet, Oklahoma, Rockdale, Alvin, and Conroe, Texas, and Chandler, Oklahoma. Nancy retired from Wal-Mart after 15 years. She enjoyed meeting people and working with her coworkers. She made many friends throughout the years as she was very witty, fun loving, and loved to do donuts in the old Wal-Mart parking lot when it snowed. After retirement, Nancy and C.B. loved traveling in their RV, and were members of several RV clubs. They were faithful members of the Nazarene Church in Shawnee, Oklahoma. They loved their children, and grandchildren, and their many, many, friends. After her husband passed away, Nancy enjoyed eating lunch everyday at the Chandler Senior Citizen's Center and had a lot of fun with all her friends there. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years, C.B. Jarvis; son, Mark Randall Jarvis; one brother, Martin Lee Craft; and three sisters, Pauline Craft, Glenna Simpson, and Juanita Standefer; Survivors include, three sons, Wayne and Mary Jarvis of Lake Kiowa, Texas, Phillip Jarvis, and Gary Jarvis, of Chandler; two daughters, Camilla and Todd Westfall, and Diana and Gerald Luschen, all of Chandler; fifteen grandchildren, Joe and Heather Jarvis of Yukon, Oklahoma, John and Lindsey Jarvis of Carlsbad, California, Travis and Mariah Jarvis of Davenport, Oklahoma, Taryn and Brian Smith of Berry Hill, Oklahoma, Kyli and Troy Dutton of Wigby Island, Washington, Kaci Jarvis of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Nicaela and Cody Wells of Vinita, Oklahoma, Jaci and Justin Robinson of Garland, Texas, Tiffany and Dylan Blundell of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, Christie and Austin Webb of Mansfield, Texas, Matt and Haley Weber of Chandler, Cody and Karla Weber of Davenport, Oklahoma, Rebecca, Baylie, and Cameron Luschen of Chandler; eighteen great-grandchildren, and three more on the way; and many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
