Myrtle King, age 76, was born on November 8, 1927, in Phoenix, AZ and departed this life on Sunday, June 20, 2004, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Myrtle was the daughter of John & Helen Binkley King. She enjoyed dancing and singing. She was always very fashionable and had a keen sense of style. Myrtle enjoyed reading the Bible and going to church, collecting commemorative stamps, traveling and was very organized. Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Dale Edward Spence and 4 brothers, Vincent & Frank King, John Ray Wilson and Jimmy Wilson. Survivors include 2 brothers & 3 sisters-in-law,Jack & Wanda King, OKC, Teddy Wilson, TX, Jimmie King, Choctaw, OK, Lucy King; 2 sisters, Margaret McAnally, TN, Wanda Mae Wilson, KS; close cousins, Velma & James Bowien, Nicoma Park, OK, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 23, 2004, at Little Cemetery, Prague, OK, with Rev. Bill Derrick officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service, Harrah, OK.
