Myrtle Abigail Rose, age 71, of Midwest City, OK, was born September 27, 1945, in Ada, OK. She was the daughter of Eugene Dee & Ethel (Staggs) Ferree. She left this life on Saturday, January 14, 2017, in Midwest City, OK. Myrtle grew up and attended school in Del City, OK. She married Billy Lee Rose on February 29, 1963 and they enjoyed 53 years together. She worked for General Motors in Oklahoma City for 25 years. Her hobbies included crocheting, reading, boating, catfishing on the river and she loved animals. She loved playing pranks and reading books between cars while working at GM. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, Erny Ferree, Kenny Farris, James Ferree, 3 sisters, Opal Ralph, Ida Reagin and Doris Genovese. Survivors include her husband, Billy Rose, Midwest City, OK; 4 sons, Steven Rose, Douglas Rose, Christopher Rose, Billy Lee Rose, Jr.; daughter, Toni Lynn Evelyn Aduddell; brother, Paschal Ferree; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
