Myrna Sue Stearns

Myrna Sue Stearns was born on October 10, 1944, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Tuesday, August 26, 2014, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 69. Myrna, the daughter of Adolph 'Lefty' and Elsie Lue (Mitchell) Hruska, was a resident of Shawnee. Myrna married Vernon Stearns on August 15, 1983, in Prague. Mr. Stearns, her parents, and one sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Tommy Smith, preceded Myrna in death. Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Sherry Hayes of Stroud; 2 grandchildren, Leah Couch and Harrison Hayes, both of Stroud; 2 great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Cameron Couch of Stroud; one sister, Maxine Van Brunt of Prague; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at 9:00 AM at the Prague Cemetery in Prague with Rev. JoeAnn Pritchett officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
