Murrel Marie Pantlik was born on August 1, 1913, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Tuesday, March 13, 2007, in Colby, Kansas, at the age of 93. Murrel, the daughter of Benjamin Harrison and Mary Etta Hammons Roller, lived in Prague most of her life. She married Charlie Pantlik in Okemah, Oklahoma on October 14, 1931. While he served in the Navy during World War II, Murrel operated the City Caf. She sold the Caf when he returned and became a homemaker. She was a member of ZCBJ Lodge. Murrel never met a stranger. She was fun-loving and devoted to her family. Murrel was an outstanding seamstress and cook. Charlie preceded her in death on March 8, 1989. Her parents; three brothers; and one infant son, Billy Charles, also preceded Murrel in death. Survivors include daughter, Nancy Davis of Plainville, KS; granddaughters, Wendy and Don Hageman of McCook, NE, and Cindy and Mike Hake of Colby, KS; five great-grandchildren, Brad Hageman of Akron, CO, Brian Hageman of Tulsa, OK, Brady Hageman of McCook, NE, Julie Baalmann of Olathe, KS, Jennifer Dennis of Hays, KS; and one brother, Delbert Roller of Loveland, CO.
