Morris Gene Hines

Morris Gene Hines was born on March 8, 1946, in Stockton, CA, and departed this life on Thursday, February 2, 2017, in Nashville, at the age of 70. Morris, the son of Morris Todd and Opal (Hensley) Hines, was a resident of Nashville, TN. He grew up and attended school in Nashville, TN. After graduating he attended several colleges over the years which included David Lipscomb University, York Christian College and Harding College. Morris worked for Ford Motor Co. for 30 years. He enjoyed traveling, OU football and all football games. Morris’s parents and sister, Gayle Hines, preceded him in death. Survivors include his brother Gary Hines and wife, Linda, of Smyrna, TN; two nephews, Gary Hines Jr. and wife, Heather, of South Amana, IA and Chris Hines, of Smyrna, TN; one niece, Melissa Bartley of Smyrna, TN and many other great nieces and nephews, family and friends. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 2:00 PM, at Little Cemetery with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
