Morris A. Taylor

Chandler, Oklahoma resident, Morris A. Taylor, was born on May 14, 1926, in Powderly, Texas, and departed this life on November 12, 2005, in Meeker, at the age of 79 years. Morris was the son of Marion E. and Ola Mae Morris Taylor. He served in the United States Navy during WW II. Morris married Vaughn Packer in Houston Texas, on February 9, 1970. He retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in 1978. Morris was a member of the Christian Scientist Church of Shawnee, the Chandler, American Legion, and the Chandler Masonic Lodge. His parents, one son, one brother, and three sisters have preceded Morris in death. Survivors include, Wife, Vaughn Taylor of the home, Two sons, Lee Taylor of Cedar Crest, NM, Paul M. Taylor of VA, One daughter, Marilyn Olsen of Fresno, CA, One brother, Harrell Taylor of Paris, TX, Three grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends.
