Modell Hall was born in Pontatoc County on January 14, 1920 and departed this life in Oklahoma City on Monday, October 20, 2008 at the age of 88 years. Modell was the daughter of Eli and Iva Pearl McGee Summers. Modell was a resident of Stroud. She was a housewife and a member of the Stroud Christian Church in Stroud. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1Granddaughter, Judy Vandever, 1 brother, 4 sisters, 1 half brother, and 2 half sisters. Survivors include, Two Sons & daughter in laws, John and Alice Vandever of Stroud, OK, Howard & Polly Vandever of Luther, OK, Four Daughters, Romona Raffety of Stroud, OK, Iva Ash of Stroud, OK, Linda Matheson of Stroud, OK, Sophia Walker & husband Larry of Davenport, OK, Three Brothers, Amos Summers of Roff, OK, Ray Summers of Stroud, OK, Delmer Summers of Stroud, OK, Three Sisters, Wanda Summers of Stroud, OK, Willadean Austin of Shawnee, OK, Pat Sanders of Stroud, OK, 14 Grandchildren, 37 Great Grandchildren, 46 Great Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Great Grandchildren, Others relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at the Stroud Christian Church in Stroud at 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 27, 2008 with Pastor Will Fine and Pastor Bryan Vandever officiating. Burial will be in the Parkland Cemetery, Parkland, OK under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
