Minnie Peace

Minnie Peace, former Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on July 14, 1931, in Parkland, Oklahoma. She departed this life on December 6, 2018, at her home in Edmond, Oklahoma, at the age of 87 years. Minnie was the daughter of Paul and Lola (Greenfield) Crail. She graduated from Parkland High School in 1948. Minnie married Philip Peace on September 10, 1949, in Chandler. She worked as a beautician for many years, and was a long-time member of the Chandler First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with, and taking care of her family. Minnie will be greatly missed. Her parents; husband; daughter, Phyllis Tipton; daughter-in-law, Cindie Peace; two sisters, Vernal and Dorothy, and one brother, Obe; preceded Minnie in death. Survivors include, one daughter, Vicki Addison of Edmond; one son, Terry Peace of Enid, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, James, Chris, Joseph, Bryce, Lindsy, Kenny, Todd, and Aaron; twenty four great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, December 14, 2018, at the First Baptist Church, Davenport, Oklahoma with Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
