Mildred Lorene Ballew

Carney, Oklahoma, resident, Mildred Lorene Ballew, was born on July 18, 1928, in Coleman, Oklahoma, and departed this life on July 5, 2006, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 77 years. Mildred was the daughter of Jodie and Etta Moorehead Robbins. She owned an operated the Ballew Corner Caf for many years in Carney, Oklahoma. Mildred married Ray F. Claunch in 1946 and he preceded her in death in 1962 then she married Harold F. Ballew in 1963 then he preceded her in 1983. Her parents, two husbands, three brothers and four sisters also preceded Mildred in death. Survivors include one son Frank Claunch of Tuttle, OK. Five daughters, Sharon Dugger of Seminole, OK. Vonda Speaks of Okla. City, OK.Mitzi Wilson of Chandler, OK. Berta Ingram of Okla. City, OK.Lori Stapp of Chandler, OK. Two brothers, Bill Robbins of Amarillo, TX. James Robbins of Dumas, TX. Two sisters, Ann Seba of Lubbock, TX. Nona Miller of Snowflake, AZ. 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends.
