Mildred Faye Osborn-Capps

Mildred Faye Osborn-Capps, age 91, of Denver, Colorado, formerly of McLoud, Oklahoma, was born March 9 1924, in Newalla, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Pleasant Wiley Barton & Mettie Faye (Lessly) Barton. She left this life on Friday, April 10, 2015, in Denver, Colorado. Mildred lived in McLoud, OK, for many years. She moved to Colorado in 2004, then back to Midwest City, OK, from 2005 to 2007 and then back to Colorado. She was a homemaker and a teacher's helper at McLoud Elementary. Mildred was also a seamstress and made a lot of clothes for people. She enjoyed drawing, writing poetry and reading and studying the bible. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Gerald Osborn and Duel Capps, 5 brothers and one sister. She is survived by her son,Jerry Osborn, Centiennial, CO; 2 daughters & son-in-law,Peggy Vickrey, American City, CA, Margery & Gerald Utesch, Beulah, CO; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 18, 2015, at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Newalla, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
