Michael West

Michael Leroy West, former Davenport, Oklahoma resident, was born on March 26th, 1951 to Earl and Mary West in Newalla, Oklahoma. Michael departed on June 29th, 2016, in Glenpool, Oklahoma, at his daughters house at the age of 65. Growing up with an identical twin brother, Michael and his brother, Anthony, stayed busy working in the hay fields hauling hay. He graduated from Harrah High School in 1969. Soon after high school Michael began working for Burlington Northern-Frisco Railroad Company where after 29 years he retired from. In 2012 Michael moved to Penrose Colorado where he was a current resident. His parents (Earl and Mary West), one sister (Earlene West-Perry), twin brother, Anthony, preceded Michael in death. Survivors include his children; Michael Leroy West II and wife Mandy of Edmond, Oklahoma; Curtis Earl West and wife Lauren of Edmond, Oklahoma; Jeannine Louise West, of Glenpool, Oklahoma; Maurice Edgar West of Davenport, Oklahoma; Lillie Lea West of Yukon, Oklahoma; and Rita Sonja Vickie West of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Grandchildren include: Alexis, Nathan, Finley, Vaughn, Walker and Anna West; other relatives and many friends. Services will be held on July 6th, 2016 at 4 PM at the First Baptist Church in Davenport, Oklahoma, with Rev. Michael Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at 7 PM located in Newalla, Oklahoma at the Paradise Vista Cemetery.
