Michael Morantine

Michael C. Morantine of Harrah, age 54, was born on February 26, 1957, in Lafayette, LA. Michael was the son of Luther Charles & Bertie Alma (Creighton) Morantine. He left this life on December 30, 2011, in Midwest City, OK. Michael graduated from Tulane University with his PHD. He worked at Tinker Air Force Base for 15 years as a mechanical engineer. Michael loved playing guitar, going to movies, reading, and playing chess. Survivors Include his parents of Boutte, LA; his wife Carmen Morantine of Harrah, OK; two daughters, Michelle Morantine, Megan Morantine both of the home, three brothers & sisters-in-law, Steven Allen & Gina Morantine of Violet, LA, David Charles & Cindy Morantine of Luling, LA, Harold Lee Morantine of Luling, LA, two sisters, Karen Gail Morantine of Boutte, LA, Linda Faye Morantine of Washougal, WA, and many other relatives and friends. Services will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 3, 2011, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK, with Mr. Don Cade officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
