George Michael Galzinski III, 59, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, August 31, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Michael was born on July 16, 1965, in Sacramento, California to George Michael and Baiba (Sprogis) Galzinski. He attended school in Sacramento, graduating from Valley High School in 1983. He furthered his education at American River college in Sacramento. Michael moved from Sacramento to Chandler, Oklahoma in 2000. He met Brittany Abram on July 19, 2006, at OnCue where she worked. Michael and Brittany were married on May 11, 2012, in Oklahoma City. Together they had 3 daughters.

Michael spent 25+ years working in the oilfield: his life’s work. In February of 2019, together with Brittany, he got his own truck and started “Mikey’s Roustabout Service. In March of 2024, he started working at Bison Metal Technologies as a millwright, where he was employed at his passing.

Michael enjoyed going to car shows, drag racing, riding his Harley with Brittany, and flying airplanes as he had his pilot’s license. He spent numerous hours working on his treasured car: “his Mona Lisa”, his ’95 Camero, “Grace” & his ’23 Ford T-Bucket. He was a member of TFCC Car Club.

Michael was very family oriented. He and Brittany had been building a house together in recent years. Michael was a proud1st generation United States citizen and was also very proud of his Latvian heritage as his family had immigrated from Riga, Latvia.

“Michael’s pistons tapped out on 8/31.”
