Melvin Lloyd Norman

Melvin Lloyd Norman, was born in Wewoka, Oklahoma on June 13, 1945 and departed this life in Seminole, Oklahoma on Sunday, August 24, 2008 at the age of 63 years. Melvin was the son of Charles Thurman and Ella Barkhimer Norman. Melvin is a resident of Sasakwa, Oklahoma since 1987. He graduated from Davenport High School in 1963 and owned & operated his ranch in Sasakwa, Oklahoma. He served in the Army National Guard. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, sister in law, Jo Norman. Survivors include, One Son, Clinton Norman of Blanchard, OK, One Daughter & son in law, Julie and Anthony Thomas of Porum, OK, Father& Mother, Charles Thurman & Ella Norman of Sasakwa, OK, Two Brothers, Jim Norman of Davenport, OK, Thurman Norman of Davenport, OK, Two Grandchildren, Jennie & Jace Barrett of Porum, OK, Other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at the Davenport Cemetery on Thursday, August 28, 008 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Joe Molencupp officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, OK.
