Melvin Gene Ellis

Melvin Gene 'Butch' Ellis was born on May 6, 1941, in Cushing, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Saturday, October 21, 2006, in Midwest City, OK, at the age of 65. Melvin, the son of Edgar and Myrtle May McKinney Ellis, was a resident of Lincoln County. He was a tribal policeman for the Sac and Fox Nation. Ellis, Midwest City, Jackson Ellis, Shawnee, Leroy Ellis, Norman, Virgil Ray Ellis, Shawnee; Sisters, Mildred Marceleno, Prague, Peggy Ellis, Meeker, Joyce May Burgess, Wolf, Gloria Jean Ellis, Agra, Lela J. Lopez, Altus, Gail Marez, Prague; and grandchildren, Caleb and Jakeb Violette.
