Melody Switzer

Melody Rina Switzer was born on September 2, 1962 in Fairfax, Oklahoma and departed this life on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 57. Melody was born to Carol Dean Culp and Freida Irelene Scott Culp. She was a graduate of Bixby Schools. After graduating she married Darren Townsley and they had one son Chris. She enjoyed horseback riding and loved anything to do with water. She will be remembered for her kind, loving, and tenderhearted nature. She took pride in helping others and was a caregiver of her mother and aunt. Melody is preceded in death by her father Carol Dean Culp and her step-mother Caroline (Roberts) Culp. Survivors include: son Chris Townsley and wife Cassie, mother Freida Young, four grandchildren Aiden, Logan, Evelynn, and Elena, sister Sonya Lindenbeger and husband Mark, two half brothers Jack Culp and Jeff Culp, Aunt Joyce Prewitt, special friend Adam Thomas and family, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
