Melba Doris Brown

ON MARCH 27TH MY BROTHER TOOK MY MOTHER HOME Melba Doris Brown, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother died at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Effie Benson, her step-dad, Ray Bender and her oldest son, Sgt. Frank Edward Brown, Jr. She leaves behind 2 sons, Vern Brown of Harrah and Mike Brown of Edmond; 6 grandchildren, Dawn, Joann, Stacy, Danny, Melba R., and Jeremy and 8 great-grandchildren. Melba retired after over 30 years, from the Oklahoma State Insurance Fund Comp Source. She had a tremendous love for animals and owned Flor de Melba''s kennels for over 35 years. She enjoyed bowling and fishing. Her unselfishness for her family was never questioned. She is loved and will be missed. A special thanks to Faith Hospice.
