Maymie Delois Burchette

Maymie Delois 'Lois' Burchette was born on May 6, 1931, and departed this life on Sunday, March 9, 2008, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 76. Lois, the daughter of Melvin Thomas and Maymie Elizabeth Wilks Smith, was a resident of Owasso. She married Joseph Forrest 'Joe' Burchette on January 8, 1954 in Newkirk, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on December 11, 1994. Lois taught 4th grade in Jenks until her retirement. Her parents, one sister, and one brother also preceded Lois in death. Lois is survived by her niece, Tammy Brown of Tulsa. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 1:00 PM, at the Prague Cemetery with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
