Maxine Mary Bessinger

Maxine Mary Brown Bessinger, age 85, was born on July 26, 1919, in Earlsboro, OK, and departed this life on Friday, October 1, 2004, in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Maxine was the daughter of John Stephen & Zora Ethel Hill Brown. She married Dan Bessinger who preceded her in death in 1998. Maxine loved gardening and sewing. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 3 sisters and 1 brother. Survivors include 3 sons & 2 daughters-in-law, Darrel & Mary Bessinger, Houston, TX, Donnie & Lea Bessinger, Moore, OK, Randy Bessinger, Choctaw, OK ; 2 daughters, Judy Thomas, Choctaw, OK, Margie Allen, Midwest City, OK; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 5, 2004, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK, with Chaplain Jim McCool officiating. Interment will follow at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Newalla, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service, Harrah, OK.
