Maxine Hill Lamm Hensley was born on October 7, 1913, in Weston, Oregon, and departed this life on Wednesday, December 12, 2007, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 94. Maxine, the daughter of Charles and Alice Martin Lamm, was a resident of Prague since 1957. She was raised north of Cromwell, OK. She married Howard Hill in Seminole County. He preceded her in death in 1961. She later married Arch Hensley who preceded her in death in 1987. Maxine was a homemaker, member of the United Methodist Church, member of the Eastern Star #127, Prague Hospital Auxiliary, Rose Garden Club and Centerview Service Club. Her parents; one son, Clarence Hill; one granddaughter, Gaye Ann Kirby; five brothers, and five sisters also preceded Maxine in death. Survivors include, daughter-in-law, Donna Hill of Midland, TX; granddaughters, Gail Cornejo of Broken Arrow, Gwyn Hill of Midland, TX, Gina and Roy Ponder of San Angelo, TX, Gerri and Brian Lowe of Nokomis, Illinois; step-grandchildren, Diane Kerby of Prague, Billy Hensley of Gilmer, TX and Danny Hensley of Lampasas, TX; 2 great-grandsons; 3 great-granddaughters; 3 great-grandsons; 2 great-granddaughter; several nieces, nephews and many friends. The family will receive friends at Parks Brothers Funeral Home on Sunday, December 16, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM weather permitting. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 17, 2007 at 2:00 PM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Rev. Dennis Yeubanks officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
