He passed from this life on October 25, 2005, in Harrah, OK. Max grew up in the Newalla, Harrah and Choctaw areas. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, camping and just visiting with friends. Max was preceded in death by one daughter, Ashlee Melton. Survivors include his father & step-mother, Willie & Cindy Melton, Oklahoma City, OK; his mother, Donna Bryce, Choctaw, OK; 1 son, Nicholas Melton, Harrah, OK; 3 daughters, Brittany Melton, Harrah, OK, Christina Bryant, Harrah, OK, Cortney Melton, Harrah, OK; 1 brother, Charles Melton, Harrah, OK; 2 sisters, Tina Green, Harrah, OK, Stephanie Schemel, Choctaw, OK; paternal grandparents, Francis Rattler, Oklahoma City, OK, Bill & Judy Walker, Newalla, OK and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2005, at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
