Matthew Steel Orr

Matthew Orr, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on June 24, 1914, in Wellston, Oklahoma, and departed this life on November 8, 2004, in Chandler at the age of 90 years. Matthew was the son of William M. and Lona Sherrill Orr. He married Ola Mae Miller on June 4, 1956 in Chandler. Matthew was a farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church in Chandler. His parents and wife preceded Matthew in death. Survivors include: Three Nephews: Clarence Rains of Chandler, OK; Earl Rains of Chandler, OK; Charles Rains of Terrell, TX: One Niece:Dorothy Ashinhurst of Texas: Other relatives and many friends
