Mary Venus Hoover

Mary V. Hoover was born on March 18, 1911, in Ozark, Arkansas, and departed this life on Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at her home in Wellston, OK, at the age of 99 years. Mary, was the daughter of Charles and Tennessee Arkansas (Hood) Yates. She married Able D. Hoover on March 14, 1931, in Bethany, OK. Mary was a retired homemaker and a member of the Nazarene Church in Chandler, OK. Her parents and husband and one Son, Don; preceded Mary in death. Survivors include, son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Roberta Hoover of Wellston, OK, daughter, Shirley Mobley of Chandler, OK, 6 grandchildren, 13great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010, at 10:00 A.M., at Rossville Cemetery in Wellston, with Keith Cole officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
