Mary Thelma Coleman

Mary Thelma Coleman was born in Stroud, Oklahoma on May 4, 1919 and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma at the age of 94 years. Mary was the daughter of William and Grace (Broakenhoff) Brown. Mary lived in the Stroud area all of his life. She married Cleo Coleman on September 4, 1937 in Chandler and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Stroud. She as a housekeeper for motels in Stroud for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include, one son, Jimmy Coleman of Pawnee, OK, one daughter, Maxine Jordan of Stroud, OK, two sisters, Ada Teters of Stroud, Bessie Skaggs of Bristow, eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, sixteen great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at the First Assembly of God Church in Stroud on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Jeromye Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
