Mary Ruth Martin, a resident of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away on October 11, 2019 at the age of 91 years old. Mary was born in Seminole County, Oklahoma on August 15, 1928 to Paul and Grace Burchfield. She married Alvie “O’Red” Martin on November 13, 1961 and became a homemaker. Mary loved everyone and being social. She enjoyed playing bingo with the residents of Shawnee Colonial Estates and spending time at the Shawnee Senior Center. She also looked forward to attending Church and was a member of both the First Baptist Church in Wetumka, Oklahoma and Rock Creek Baptist in Shawnee. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sons, Marvin Danielson and Robert Danielson. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jack Dempsey “Demp” Burchfield, Marley Burchfield; and a sister, Mabel Collins. She is survived by her children, Gary Lewis and wife Sunny and Rick Martin and his wife Debbie; She is also survived by grandchildren, Robbie Danielson, DeAndra McDonald, Luke Martin, Sara Martin and Jala Murphy and her husband Jason, Carmen Danielson, Kari Danielson, and Kaitlyn Danielson. Mary also leaves behind a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends who loved her as much as she loved them. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Wetumka Cemetery in Wetumka, Oklahoma.
