Mary "Red" Barlow

Mary 'Red' Odessa (Case) Barlow was born on September 26, 1932 in her parent’s home in Paden , Oklahoma, and departed this life on Wednesday, June 3, 2009, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, at the age of 76. Red, the daughter of Lem Lewis and Anna Mae (Davis) Case, was a resident of Bartlesville. She grew up in the Pentecostal Holiness faith. She married E. R. “Dick' Barlow in 1977. Mary worked for over 25 years as a nurse at Jane Phillips Hospital in Bartlesville. Red loved fried chicken, fish, laughing, her family and God. Her parents; one son, James Anthony McKay; and one brother preceded Mary in death. Survivors include her husband of 32 years, E.R. “Dick” Barlow of Bartlesville; son and daughter-in-law, William Lewis and Lisa McKay of Mt. Vernon, MO; daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret Ann and Alan Durham of Oklahoma City, Mary Denise and David Boynton of Tulsa; brothers and sisters-in-law, L.T. and D.I. Case of Paden, Max and Edna Case of Paden, Tex and Caroline Case of Bristow; sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia Broyles of Tulsa, Joan Broyles of Paden, Toyie Adams of Fort Smith, AR, Peggy and Harlan Wilson of Prague, Sue and Tommy Hinds of Paden; 11 grandchildren: 3 great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 8, 2009 at the 2:00 PM, at the Calvary Way Church with Rev. Starland Davis officiating. Interment will follow at the Prague Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
