Mary Louise Richards, age 86, of Harrah, OK, was born September 12, 1928, in Lawton, OK. She was the daughter of Mike & Ruby (Woodfin) Brandon. She left this life on Monday, September 15, 2014, in Oklahoma City, OK. Mary graduated from Lawton High School, Lawton, OK. She married Joe B. Richards on November 28, 1946, in Lawton, OK. Mary was a secretary at the First Baptist Church in Harrah and retired from Harrah Schools where she was a secretary for 20 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Harrah, OK. Mary enjoyed quilting, fishing and sewing. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 older sisters and one brother. Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Joe & Janet Richards, Harrah, OK; 3 daughters & sons-in-law, Janice Rader, Harrah, OK, Susan & Oron Kennard, Tecumseh, OK, Nancy & Roy Black, Oklahoma City, OK; sister & brother-in-law, Marjorie & Roger Bayer, Bixby, OK; brothers-in-law, G. W. Hasting, Red Lodge, Montana, Jim & Mary Richards, Kingwood, Texas; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, September 19, 2014, at Smith-Parks Funeral Service, 2039 N. Tim Holt Dr., Harrah, OK. Services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 20, 2014, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
