Mary Lou McClendon was born December 18, 1948 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Jack and Dorothy (Lee) Mooney and departed this life on Sunday, December 15, 2019 in Stroud, Oklahoma at the age of 70. Mary was a resident of Pryor, Oklahoma. She attended high school in Coweta, Oklahoma. She was married to Lawrence Wayne McClendon on January 1, 1966. She enjoyed fishing, cooking and loved spending time with family and her grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence McClendon, parents Jack Mooney, Dorothy (Lee) Mooney, and brother Mickey Mooney. Survivors include daughter Jackie McClendon of Stroud, two sons “Tank” John McClendon and wife Shana of Chelsea, and Charles Michael McClendon of Pryor, stepmother Shirley Mooney of Lawton, brother Charlie Mooney of Tulsa, three sisters Linda Harper of Claremore, Belinda Roberts of Lawton, Susie Mooney of Tulsa. Nine grandchildren; Haley Freeman and husband Dakota, CJ Hyde and wife Taylor, Chance McClendon, Lawrence McClendon, Patrick McClendon, Chassary McClendon and Tony Goodmon, Jonathan McClendon, Shalyn Troyer and Cole Troyer. Seven great grandchildren Trayson, Brynlee, Emersyn, Ryleigh, Paizlee, Chasslyn, and Hallee, Nieces, Nephews, other family members and her little dog Bubba. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
