Mary Kathleen Ogburn

Kathleen Ogburn was born on May 30, 1924, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Monday, November 18, 2013, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 89. Kathleen, the daughter of Edgar Ellis Gray and Opal (McElvaney) Ludlum, was a resident of Meeker, Oklahoma. She lived and attended school in Prague. She married Ernest Earl Ogburn on October 22, 1942, in San Francisco, California. After marrying Ernest, they moved to Oklahoma where they owned and operated an auction/realty business in Prague, Meeker and Shawnee for over 30 years. Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband and her younger brother, Keith Gray. Survivors include: daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Virgil Pound of Phoenix, Arizona, Sheila and Dick Reynolds of Nampa, Idaho, and Joyce and Larry Davison of Meeker; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Linda Gray of Midwest City, eight grandchildren, Schelley Swearengin, Renee Whitaker, Marty Pound, Kimm Chamberlain, David Cantrell, Kelly McDaniel, Andrew Davison and Jami ChamBon; 18 great grandchildren, other family and friends. The Ogburn family will receive friends on Sunday, November 24, 2013, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 25, 2013, at 10:00 AM, at Choctaw Church of the Nazarene in Choctaw with Rev. Mike Meeks and Rev. Jason Crouch officiating. Interment will then follow at 2:00 PM on Monday, at the Prague Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
