Mary Katherine "Kathy" King

Mary Katherine “Kathy” (Rattan) King was born on June 28, 1944, in Porterville, California, and departed this life on October 22, 2013, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 69. Kathy, the daughter of Lorenzo Larkin and Lillie Janie (Martin) Rattan, was a long-time resident of Prague. Kathy loved making people happy. She loved God and her family. She never had an enemy and was loved by everyone. She touched many lives and always had a tender, caring, open heart. She graduated college while working and caring for five children. She was a strong woman, a survivor with a strong faith. Her father and daughter, Paula Kaye Paden, preceded her in death. Survivors include: her mother, Lillie Janie Harper; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Bea Northcott of Ponca City; daughters, Tammy Bowden of Prague, Gina Northcott of Wolf, and Connie Northcott of Wolf; brothers and sisters-in-law, Vernon and Betty Rattan of Seminole, Leon Rattan of Tecumseh, and Tony and Eloise Rattan of Meeker; sisters and brothers-in-law,Barbara Arbuckle of Duncan, Janet Comstock of Prague, Linda and Dick Brown of Meeker, Donna and Bud McClain of Midlothian, Ronna and Wayne McClain of Jacktown, and Sherry and Robbie Holder of Marlow; 20 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 2:00 PM, at First Baptist Church in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
