Mary Francis Mcginnis

Mary Francis McGinnis was born on April 14, 1931, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Monday, September 15, 2008, in Seminole, Oklahoma, at the age of 77. She was a homemaker and a long-time member of the Deer Creek Baptist Church. She married Billy Gene Coleman on December 3, 1946 in McAlester. He preceded her in death on April 3, 1959. Mary married Billy Fred 'Buck' McGinnis in Sand Springs on January 9, 1960. Buck also preceded Mary in death on March 30, 1993. Mary, the daughter of Charlie Wheeler and Myrtle Freeman Gee, was a life-long resident of Prague. Her parents; four brothers; two sisters; two children, Brenda Michelle McGinnis and Linda Sue Rogers; one grandson, Jason Rogers; and one daughter-in-law, Mary Coleman also preceded Mary in death. Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Sam Coleman of Davenport, Brent and Brenda McGinnis of Prague; daughters and sons-in-law, Ann and Don Cale of Shawnee, Beverly Jean and Jimmie Roye of Shawnee, Patricia and Allan Jones of Prague, Pam and Randy Norman of Paden; brother, Charles Gee of Oklahoma City; sister and brother-in-law, Jackie and Jesse Reeves of Bremerton, WA; 21 grandchildren; 32 Great-grandchildren; and the extended McGinnis family. Mary''s family will receive friends on Thursday, September 18, 2008, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2008 at 2:00 PM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Rev. Ellis Risenhoover and Rev. Mike Haines officiating. Interment will follow at the Prague Cemetery.
