Mary Ellen Stewart

Mary Ellen Stewart, Shawnee, Oklahoma, resident, was born on July 21, 1929, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and departed this life on July 18, 2005, in Edmond, Oklahoma, at the age of 75 years. Mary was the daughter of Daniel and Ollie Gunter Stevens. She married Leonard J. Stewart on October 1, 1950 in Jacktown, Oklahoma. She was a long-time employee of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, and a member of Horton Chapel, Church of the Nazarene. Her parents, and husband, preceded Mary in death. Survivors include: Two sons: Steven Stewart of Mustang, OK; Scott Stewart of Chandler, OK: Two daughters: Sharalyn Stewart of Chandler, OK; Robin Dickerson of Edmond, OK: Six Grandchildren: Scottie Stewart of Chandler, OK; Kristi Williams of Lakeland, FL; Christina Stokes of El Reno, OK; Amber Stewart of Mustang, OK; Danielle Stewart of Chandler, OK; Britni Stewart of Chandler, OK; One great-grandson: Anthony Stokes III of El Reno, OK.
