Mary Elizabeth Yarbrough

Mary Elizabeth 'Beth' Yarbrough was born on August 21, 1948, departed this life on Sunday, July 21, 2013, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 64. Beth, the daughter of Cecil Leroy and Velma Mae (Davis) Smith, was a resident of McAlester. She worked as a medical technician. Following her retirement, she volunteered at Mercy Memorial Hospital in Ardmore and read to the elementary students of McAlester. Beth was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who lived for her family. Her parents preceded Beth in death. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Jimmy Bigham of McAlester; granddaughters, Jacilyn Beth Bigham, Jenna Brooke Bigham, JoeDan Nix Bigham; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Sandra Smith of Prague, Larry and Hyral Smith of Broken Bow; sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Ray Hudson of Edmond; her beloved dog, Roxy JJ; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 2:00 PM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Walt Spradling of CrystalRock Cathedral officiating. Interment will follow at Prague Cemetery.
