Mary Earline Mayes

Mary Earline Mayes was born on January 26, 1940, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, March 10, 2011, at her residence in Stroud, Oklahoma, at the age of 71. Earline, the daughter of Leeroy William and Louella (Fowler) Brown, was a life-long resident of the Prague area. She married Glen Mayes on July 27, 1956. She was the Valedictorian of the Centerview High School graduating class of 1957. Earline was a housewife and a farmer and was a member of Deer Creek Baptist Church. Her father and brother-in-law, Harvey Moore, preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Glen Mayes of the home; mother, Louella Brown of Prague; daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and Steve Richardson of Prague, Donna and Johnnie Thoma of Prague; grandchildren and their spouses, Justin and Amanda Richardson, Darren and Kathleen Bell, Doug and Jaylynn Richardson, Sarah and Jeff Berger; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Addison, Jasmine, Burke, and Cole; brother and sister-in-law, Howard Lee and Lavon Brown of Prague; sister, Carletta Moore of Shawnee; brother-in-law, Wayne Mayes and his wife, Wanda, of Prague; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 2:00 PM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Rev. Mike Haines officiating. Interment will follow at the Prague Cemetery.
