Mary Belle Clark

Mary Belle Clark, a resident of Stroud, Oklahoma, died on Thursday, July 13, 2006, at Stroud, Oklahoma, at the age of 89 years. Mary, the daughter of Edward John and Edna Ferne Bates Stitch, was born in Gatlin, Oklahoma, on April 9, 1917. Mary married Cosby Edward Clark in Duncan, Oklahoma on June 15, 1940. Mary moved to Stroud two years ago from Ponca City, Oklahoma, where she lived for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, worked as a Home Health Care Provider, and loved to teach music. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1989, 3 brothers, and 1 sister. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Cosby and Beverly Clark of Stroud; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
