Marvin Loyd Good

Marvin Good of Prague, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 91 years. Marvin Good was born on November 5, 1927, in Prague, Oklahoma. He was the son of Loyd and Fay Harriett (Cox) Good. He grew up in Prague attending Prague Public Schools and graduating from Prague High School in 1946. He married Lucille Page on January 1, 1947, in Prague, Oklahoma and they made their home in Prague. He began working with his father at Good’s Dozer service later becoming owner. In 1975 he and Lucille began L & M Stop -n- Shop operating the store until September 1, 1994. He was a member of the of First Baptist Church, he was also a member of the Prague Masonic Lodge where he was a 32nd Degree Mason receiving his 50 year pin, member of the McAlister Consistory, he was also a member of the order of Eastern Star and the India Shrine Temple where he was a member of the Trico Clowns. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Danny Good; one brother, Carl Good; one sister Mildred Good Stricklin. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Lucille Good of Prague; one son, Dennis Good of Prague; daughter, Kayla Johnson and husband Monte of Prague; seven grandchildren, Tracy Brackett and husband Les, Shanon Good, Tiffany Dick and husband Chance, Amber Good, Amanda Richardson and husband Justin, Monta Johnson and Dillon Good; five great-grandchildren, Ashlynn, Cayden, Talen, Addison and Cole; one brother, Jack Good of Shawnee, Oklahoma; one sister, Christeen Mulanex of Texas. Funeral Services will be Monday, September 9, 2019, at 10:00 am at the First Baptist Church in Prague, Oklahoma, with Rev. Tim Emmons officiating. Burial will follow at the Prague Cemetery.
