Marvin Lee Evans, 83, passed away on April 7, 2022 in Shawnee, OK. Marvin was born on August 15, 1938 in Bristow, OK to Carl and Bertha (Sontag) Evans. He graduated from Stroud Schools in 1956. Marvin served in the US Army in the 1960’s. He worked for Exxon Oil for 29 years as a surveyor. Marvin really enjoyed anything outdoors but especially ranching. He loved raising cows. He just enjoyed the simple things life had to offer. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Bertha Evans, sister Joan Evans and sister Mary Shields. Marvin is survived by his sister Loveta Brewer, nephew Wade Brewer and wife Tara of Choctaw; Jon Brewer and wife Kristin of Ardmore; niece Connie Burton of Byron Center, MI; niece Carletta Whitthorne of Bryon Center, MI and many other extended family and many friends. A graveside service will be Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 2:00pm at Stroud Cemetery, Stroud, OK. Online condolences and memories may be shared by visiting www.parksbrothers.net.
