Martha Parsons

Martha Parsons, a resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, was born in Lemar, Colorado on June 6, 1927, and departed this life in Broken Arrow on Thursday, August 23, 2007, at the age of 80 years. Martha was the daughter of David and Kathie May Schick. Martha moved to Broken Arrow from Stroud in 2005. Martha was a long-time member of the Deer Creek Baptist Church in Stroud. She moved her membership to the Haikey Creek Baptist in Broken Arrow. She owned and operated Martha Beauty Shop in Stroud. Martha married Vernon D. Parsons in Clayton, NM on November 16, 1960. He preceded her in death August 18, 2006. Her parents; 1 son, David; 1 daughter; Nancy; 3 brothers, and 1 sister also preceded her in death. Survivors include, One Son & Daughter in Law, Jerry & Mildred Rodgers of Bixby, OK, One Daughter & Son in Law, Judi & Bill Crichton of Kansas City, KS, One Sister, Ester Weimer of Wiley, CO, One Son in Law, Robert Batchelor of Tulsa, OK, Four Grandchildren, Pam Williams, Angie Simpson, Cassie Holloway, Tony Crichton, Seven Great Grandchildren, Ryan Williams, Nancy Williams, Robby Simpson, Max Simpson, Ashley Simpson, Curtis Holloway & Kennerly Holloway.
