Martha Ann Sellers

Martha Ann Sellers, 83, of Paden, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2020 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Martha Ann was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma on January 21, 1937 to Charles Oliver and Esther Merle (Maddox) Sturdivan. Martha Ann married Kenneth Darrell Miller and together they had three children. She, later, married Roy Paul Sellers of Shawnee, OK. She received her cosmetology license and worked at the JC Penny Salon in Shawnee as a hairdresser for 7 years. Sometimes she could be spotted there standing on her head in a salon chair whenever she was bored. Martha Ann enjoyed going to the Casino and looked forward to going every Sunday afternoon. She also enjoyed watching True Crime shows on the I.D. Channel. Martha Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Paul Sellers; her parents; a brother, Johnny Stephen Sturdivan; and a grandson, Steven Scott Roberts. Survivors include two daughters, Sheree Lynette Hurst of Prague, Oklahoma and Kenna Ann Rogers and her husband Rick of Paden, Oklahoma; a son, Steven Eric Miller and his wife Sylvia of San Antonio, TX; a brother, Charles David Sturdivan of Coffeyville, KS., grandchildren, Nancy Lynn Barrett of Pearland, Tx., Tara Michelle Hurst of Prague, Ok., Kiley Dawn Bailey of Prague, OK., Shalah Suzan Hurst of Haltom City, Tx., Shanna Marie Lacey of Strang, Ok., Justin Aaron Hurst of Graham, Tx., Johnny Steven Miller of Drummond, Ok., Kevin Chad Hurst of Haltom City, TX., and Charlie Marie Miller of Shawnee, Ok.; She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other family members and friends.
