Marjorie Lilly Anne Harrison

Marjorie Lilly Anne Scheffler Harrison, age 70, was born on April 13, 1936, in New York City, NY and departed this life on Sunday, December 24, 2006, in Midwest City, OK. Marjorie with her German parents, Leo and Martha Scheffler, returned to St. Ingbert/Sarr, Germany. Later in her life, she attended the University of Homburg where she received her Registered Nurse nursing degree. There she met Staff Sergeant Lonnie L. Harrison who became her husband in 1967. They returned to the United States in 1968. Upon Lonnie?s retirement from the U. S. Army, they moved to Oklahoma where they made their home in Harrah. Marjorie was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Harrah. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, going to the lake and taking care of her grandchildren. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Edith. Survivors include her husband, Lonnie L. Harrison, Harrah, OK; 2 sons, John E. Harrison, Harrah, OK, William L. Harrison, Harrah, OK; 2 brothers,Ottmar Scheffler, Baltimore, MD, Edgar Scheffler, Germany; 3 grandchildren, William, Devyn & Lilly Anne Harrison; nieces and nephews in Germany, other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, December 28, 2006, at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, Harrah, OK, with Father Charles Murphy officiating. Interment will follow at Jones IOOF Cemetery, Jones, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service, Harrah, OK.
