Marion Eugene Harvey

Marion Eugene Harvey was born on January 6, 1922, in Hinton, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Friday, May 1, 2009, in Blanchard, Oklahoma, at the age of 87. Marion, the son of Herbert Walter and Dollie Gower Harvey, was a resident of Blanchard. He married Mamie Jane Davis in Ponca City on May 11, 1942. She preceded him in death on September 13, 2008. Marion retired from the Mertz Company where he worked as a heavy equipment machinist. His parents, one sister, and four brothers also preceded Marion in death. Survivors include daughter, Jimmie Schardein of Blanchard; grandson and grand daughter-in- law, Jeff and Tina Schardein of Blanchard; brother and sister-in-law, Lester and Marie Harvey of Albert; great grandchildren, Jeremy Schardein of Blanchard, Calli Schardein of Blanchard; many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at 1:00 P.M., at Gable Cemetery with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Prague.
