Marie Lorene Nipper was born on October 8, 1926, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Sunday, October 12, 2008, at her home in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 82. Lorene, the daughter of Clarence Mitchell and Millie Sarah Harris Temey, was a resident of Prague most of her life. She was a graduate of Prague High School. She married Rev. Howard Raymond Nipper on November 13, 1948 in Van Buren, Arkansas. They pastored churches in several Oklahoma towns for many years. After retiring from the ministry in 1993, the Nipper''s moved home to Prague. Rev. Nipper preceded Lorene in death on February 16, 1996. Lorene was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Prague. Her parents; one brother, Gene Terney; and one sister, Anna Mae Watson, also preceded Lorene in death. Survivors include, Daughters and sons-in-law, Veryl and Dennis Vos of Prague, Donnia and Chuck Utsler of Pocasset, Jerrye Nipper of Prague, Grandchildren, Kim Terry and her husband Chuck of Konawa, Jana Goodnight and her husband Jimmy of Prague, Kyle Utsler and his wife Tami of Pocasset, Andrew Vos of Choctaw, Kelli Brown and her husband Jeromy of Pocasset, 7 Great-grandchildren, Dylan, Cheyanne, Logan, Kiley, Brooke, Lynnie, and Jalyn. Numerous nieces and nephews. Lorene''s family will receive friends at Parks Brothers Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 14, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at 10:30 AM, at the First Baptist Church in Prague with Rev. Chuck Utsler officiating. Interment will follow at the Prague Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
