Marie Hopkins, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, devoted and loving wife, mom and grandmother, was born on February 22, 1932, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and passed away peacefully on September 3, 2004, at the age of 72 years. Marie was the daughter of Melville L. and Opal Chase. She graduated from Hominy High School in 1950 and attended Cottey College in Nevada, Missouri. Marie married Don Hopkins on December 26, 1954 in Hominy, Oklahoma. They lived throughout the world on assignments with the United States Air Force. In 1977 they settled in Chandler, and purchased Fendy?s Restaurant. Marie was known for her hospitality and cooking. She always had a sweet smile and a warm meal for her family and friends. Marie will be greatly missed but left a wonderful legacy in her children and grandchildren. Her parents preceded Marie in death. Survivors include: Her loving husband: Donald J.
