Marian Deanna Ellis

Marian Deanna Ellis was born on September 11, 1966, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 47. Marian, the daughter of Jackson and Margaret Starr Ellis, was a resident of Shawnee. Marian's brother, Barry Ellis and nephew Gabriel Ellis preceded her in death. Survivors include: her parents, Jackson and Margaret Ellis of Shawnee; brothers, Quinton and Carrie Ellis of Shawnee and Ricky Cline of Phoenix AZ; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pam and Wyman Ortiz of Shawnee, Tammy and Miguel Arellano of Shawnee, Teri and Benjamin Torres of Shawnee, Carla Torres of Oklahoma City, and Gail and Robert Abney of Shawnee and a host of other family and friends. The Ellis family will have church services on Friday, May 16, 2014, at 7:00 PM at Horseshoe Bend in Shawnee, with Brother Paul Wolfe officiating. Traditional tribal rites will be observed on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at the Sac and Fox Center in Stroud. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2014, at 9:30 AM with Brother Raymond Massey officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
