Margie Kimery

Margie M. Kimery was born on June 24, 1921, in Prague, OK, and departed this life on Tuesday, September 15, 2009, in Yukon, Oklahoma, at the age of 88. Margie, the daughter of John C. and Claraetta (Edwards) Brimm, had been a resident of the Oklahoma City and Yukon area since 1957. She was a graduate of Prague High School class of 1939. She married Harold R. Kimery on April 20, 1940 in Chandler, OK. He preceded her in death on September 15, 1989. Margie was a homemaker and was retired from Honeywell electronics division. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Her parents, three brothers, Shelby, George and Louie Brimm, and one sister, Lowsie Page also preceded her in death. Survivors include one daughter & son-in-law, Linda and Lynn Volkmar, El Reno, OK; one son & daughter-in-law, Rick & Linda Kimery, Mustang; two sisters-in-law, Lorraine Brimm, Oklahoma City, Charliene Kimery, Prague; four grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 2:00 PM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Rev. Carl Cheshier officiating. Interment will follow in the Prague Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
