Margaret Louise Morel

Margaret Louise Morel, age 60, of McLoud, OK, was born on September 25, 1947 in Oklahoma City, OK. She was the daughter of Allen J. H. & Bivian Vonnie Ramsey Peery. She departed this life on Thursday, August 28, 2008, in McLoud, OK. Margaret was a homemaker and volunteered at the McLoud Nursing Center. She was a member of the Latter Day Saints and past member of the Poetry Society of Oklahoma. Margaret enjoyed writing poetry, crafts, playing on the computer and making jewelry. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Veronica Kay Hagey; granddaughter, Tamara Yavon Hagey and the two true loves of her life, William Frank Hagey, Jr. and Joseph Frank Morel, III. Survivors include her daughter & son-in-law, Norma & Rodney Martin, Wellston, OK; son, Donald Morel, McLoud, OK; 2 brothers & sisters-in-law, Gerry & Betty Peery, Luther, OK, Daniel & Martha Peery, Midwest City, OK; 3 sisters & brothers-in-law, Annette Sullivan, Choctaw, OK, Kathy & Doug Bond, Wellston, OK, Mary & Buddy West, McLoud, OK; 2 grandchildren, Jessica Thomas, Shawnee, OK, Sheila Prather & her husband, Sam, McLoud, OK; 2 great-grandchildren, Ebby Prather and Damien Norman and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Newalla, OK, with Rev. Russell Houser officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service, Harrah, OK.
