Margaret A. Johnson

Margaret A. Johnson, age 69, of McLoud, OK, was born on February 1, 1938 in Bengal, OK. She was the daughter of Ausburn & Georgia Tyo Knight. She left this life on September 15, 2007 in Shawnee, OK. Margaret was a beautician. She lived in the Ada area for ten years and moved to McLoud three years ago. She was a member of the Church of Christ in McLoud. Margaret enjoyed bluegrass, sewing and all types of crafts and she was very artistic. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene Johnson; a son, Nathan Lewis Hawthorne; one brother and one sister. Survivors include 2 daughters, Cynthia Bennett, Oklahoma City, OK, Lanicsa Manuel, McLoud, OK; 2 brothers, W. M. Knight, Meeker, OK, Claude Knight, Anderson, MO; 2 sisters, Pauline Hawthorne, Choctaw, OK, Mildred Griffith, Harrah, OK; 9 grandchildren, Joshua Roof & wife, Melani L., Jeremy & wife Misti Roof, Josie Roof, Jessica Boyer, Kayla Kemp, Douglas Kemp, Corey Manuel, Gabriel Manuel & Hattie Manuel; 18 great-grandchildren, Alex, Alisha, Travis, Joshua, Jade, Angel, Gage, Serenity, Dayton, Chance, Hayden, Rex, Dakota, Izaiah, Zoey, Michella, Sage, & Rudy and many other relatives and friends. Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at the Church Of Christ, McLoud, OK, with Mr. Wayne Price officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery, Ada, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
