Earlene was born on July 6, 1942 and entered into rest on July 1, 2021 at the age of 78 years. She is the daughter of Earl & Vinita Danker, the oldest of their 8 children. She is preceded in death by her parents; Earl & Vinita Danker, infant sister; Lora Jane, and sister; Marcilla Evans. Survivors include her husband, James Cronin, of the home; daughter, Debbie and husband Tim Henley of Kendrick, OK; two sons, James Earl Cronin and wife, Gayle of Milfay, OK and Jeff Cronin and wife, Leslie of Sapulpa, OK. 1 Uncle; Herman Danker and wife Tressie; 3 Sisters; Martha Weant and husband Bem, Lola Navrath and husband Steve, Regina Neal and husband Mike. 2 brothers; George Danker and wife Sheral, Alvin Danker and wife Jane; 1 brother-in-law Carol Evans; 7 grandchildren; Josh Cronin, Ashley Cronin Abby, Jennifer Cronin, Kelsey Harris and husband Kiel, Courtney Monson and husband Kris, Jared Henley and wife Ashley, Justin Henley and wife Mariah. 8 great-grandchildren; Brody, Kambri, Nyah, Beau, Kyndal, Brock, Karsyn, and Cleeta. She met the love of her life, James Cronin, at a Stroud American Legion dance. They married on November 15, 1964 at the Danker family farm in Wellston, and lived most of her life in Lincoln county. Following high school Earlene pursued a career in cosmetology. She owned and operated her own beauty shop in Wellston. Her children find this funny as they look through old photos with various hair cuts and styles. Earlene retired from the Stroud Police Department after 26 years of service, where she served as a Dispatcher and Jailer. Earlene loved to cook, tend to her flowers and yard, read, and spend time with her family. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A celebration of Earlene’s life will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Stroud First Baptist Church with Bro. James Bond officiating.
