Lucy Ellen Rolan

Lucy Ellen Rolan, Shawnee, Oklahoma, resident, was born on August 18, 1925, in Chandler, Oklahoma, and departed this life on December 1, 2006, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 81 years. Lucy was the daughter of Francis Z. and Sarah Myrtle Taylor Taylor. She married L.B. Rolan in Winfield, Kansas, on November 2, 1946. Lucy worked for the Shawnee Public Schools for many years. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Her parents, husband, one son, David, and three brothers, Wesley, Bill, and Carl Taylor have preceded Lucy in death. Survivors include son John Rolan of Little Axe, OK. Daughter & son-in-law Margaret & Michael Loague of Newalla, OK. Two grandsons James Loague & John Loague of Newalla, OK. Three Great Grandchildren. Three brothers and two sisters. Other relatives and many friends. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Chandler, Oklahoma.
